- Can cracked stucco be repaired, or does it all come off?
- Hairline and settlement cracks are usually patched and re-coated with an acrylic finish. If the base coat or lath has failed or there's water behind it, that section comes off to the sheathing.
- How long does stucco work take?
- A patch and re-coat on one elevation is typically three to five days including cure time. A full re-coat of a two-storey home runs one to two weeks, weather permitting.
- What's the best siding for Calgary?
- Fibre cement (Hardie) holds up best to hail and UV, followed by quality steel. Vinyl is the budget option but cracks in deep cold and dents under hail.
- Do you add brick or stone veneer to existing homes?
- Yes, a thin brick or stone wainscot along the foundation is one of the cheapest ways to lift curb appeal and cover weathered concrete. It's the project shown in the slider above.
- Can you match my existing stucco texture?
- In most cases, yes. We sample the existing texture and colour, spray test boards, and get your approval before touching the wall.
- Do you do soffit, fascia and eavestrough too?
- Yes, and it's usually smart to do them in the same mobilization as siding or roofing so scaffolding and disposal are only paid for once.
