Questions

Straight answers, no runaround.

How long does a basement development take?
A typical 900–1,200 sq ft basement with a bathroom runs six to ten weeks from permit to paint, depending on inspections and material lead times.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes. Basement developments and secondary suites in Calgary need permits and inspections, and we coordinate the drawings, application and inspection bookings.
Can you do a bathroom in an occupied home?
Regularly. We dust-wall the work zone, protect floors and stairs, and clean the path daily. Most bathroom renos are two to three weeks.
Who does the plumbing and electrical?
Licensed, insured trade partners we've used for years, permitted and inspected under our project management, so you still have one point of contact.
Can I supply my own tile, vanity or fireplace?
Absolutely. We'll list allowances in the quote and credit anything you supply yourself, then flag lead times so nothing stalls the schedule.
How do payments work?
A deposit to schedule, then progress draws tied to completed milestones, with a holdback until your final walkthrough deficiency list is cleared.

What Calgary homeowners say

Real jobs, real neighbours.

Verified reviews live on our Google Business Profile, read every one of them, unedited.

Our roof was hail-damaged and Coast View handled the whole insurance claim. Tear-off and new shingles done in two days, yard cleaner than when they arrived.

Dana R.Tuscany, Calgary · Roof replacement

They developed our basement top to bottom, framing, the stone fireplace wall, bathroom, flooring. Same two guys every day and the quote never moved.

Mark & Steph L.Cranston, Calgary · Basement development

Stucco on the south wall was cracked and patched badly by a previous contractor. Coast View re-coated it and added brick to the base. Looks like a new house.
