- How long does a Calgary roof replacement take?
- Most single-family homes are torn off and re-shingled in one to two days. Complex rooflines, multiple layers or added plywood can push it to three. We give you the day count in the written quote.
- Do you handle hail damage insurance claims?
- Yes. We inspect, document the damage with photos and measurements, and work directly with your adjuster on scope and supplements. You pay your deductible, not the difference.
- What shingles do you install?
- Architectural asphalt shingles with a Class 3 or Class 4 impact rating are our default in Calgary, since hail is the number one killer of roofs here. We also do flat and low-slope membrane systems.
- What warranty do I get?
- The manufacturer's material warranty plus our own written workmanship warranty on installation and flashing details. Both are handed over in your closeout package.
- Can you roof in winter?
- Repairs and emergency tarping, yes, year round. Full replacements are best above roughly -5°C so shingles seal properly, so we schedule winter tear-offs around warm stretches.
- Do you replace eavestrough and vents at the same time?
- Almost always, it's cheaper while we're already up there. Eavestrough, downspouts, roof vents and ice-and-water shield are quoted as line items so you can choose.
